Join Resilient 1 Cofounder Mark Thompson for a live Zoom class in Intended Evolution Fitness, the physical counterpart to the Longevity Blueprints mental mindset. In this class we will deepen our contemplation of maximum healthspan and explore our limiting beliefs and emotional triggers around the subject as well as reinforcing positive behaviors, attitudes and role models.  In addition, we will continue to unpack the Intended Evolution Fitness library. This program consists of visualizations, exercises, and intentions derived from the combination of traditional eastern health practices and modern medical science and is aimed at detecting, preventing, and reversing decline in specific body systems

This 8-week course occurs every other Monday starting May 3rd | 2:30-3:45 CST

This 8-week live Zoom course covers the following key pillars:

Balance and Joint Flexibility

These are keystones of vitality and mobility. Balance is deeply reflective of cognitive fitness.  We will work on balance exercises including some that will directly impact the joints.

Hands

What often comes as a shock is just how much of our brain is mapped to our hands! Our hand’s neural controls are some of the most complex and detailed elements of the human motor system. As such, stimulating the hands is a key path to stimulate the brain. This course includes many exercises aimed at challenging dexterity and synchronicity in our hands and fingers. We will also cover a collection of hand and balance exercises that require a Hands Bean Bag.  There will an additional cost for the bean bags which will cost $25.

Organ Detoxification

Both Western and Eastern medical paradigms accept that the state of your internal organs determines your health. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), exercise and meditation should be focused on clearing, strengthening, and healing your body from the inside out. TCM also considers the organs as the governors of the emotions therefore they intimately connect with how much energy or vitality one can express throughout life.
Our exposure to new toxins manifests itself through increased rates of Diabetes, Hypertension, Allergies, Asthma, Heart Disease, Hormonal disorders, Obesity, Cancer, Infertility, and Auto Immune diseases. We take it for granted that these ailments are simply inevitable parts of aging and particular lifestyles, while in reality there is nothing normal about these diseases.   The traditional paradigm is to address detoxification through vitamins, supplementation, fasting, etc.  That is not what this is.  This is about how to energize, rejuvenate and detoxify your organs through intention, exercise and organ longevity breathing.

Hand Bags

Dr. Zhang places high importance on stimulation of the hands to maintain dexterity, mental acuity, as well as hand-eye coordination and therefore strongly recommends you practice with the bags. They are completely optional, but we will be covering their utility and it will be helpful to have a set to practice along with. These bags are made with light weight, durable canvas and filled with mung beans soaked in herbs meant to promote energy circulation.  Small and large sizes are available, with side lengths of 4.5 and 5.5 inches respectively.
